Job Description – Commercial Executive
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and maintain the billing system as per EPM framework.
- Monitor actual revenue vs. targets at district/microgrid level.
- Identify gaps in billing and revenue processes and propose corrective measures.
- Set up and oversee Reading Quality Check (RQC) and Bill Quality Check (BQC) mechanisms.
- Manage the bill rectification process, including consumer communication and resolution.
- Monitor and drive revenue recovery from both prepaid and postpaid consumers.
- Track overdue payments and generate debtors aging reports for follow-up and escalation.
- Coordinate with field teams and operations to resolve outstanding dues and recover revenue.
- Support development, troubleshooting, and complaint redressal in digital payment systems.
- Generate fortnightly flash reports, monthly MIS, and management dashboards.
- Analyze consumer usage and payment patterns to provide insights for revenue enhancement.
- Assist in tariff/package revisions and revenue impact assessments.
- Conduct revenue assurance checks to detect leakage or incorrect metering.
- Ensure audit compliance of billing, collections, and documentation.
- Work with IT/Data teams for report automation and integration with SAP/Power BI/MS Excel/Other.
- Conduct periodic training for field teams on billing, revenue recovery, and commercial SOPs.
