III. The Role: The Project Manager – To oversee IT software project deliveries and maintain strong client relationships with leads received from NICSI. The candidate must deeply understand software development processes, IT infrastructure basics, and manage communication between clients and internal project teams.
IV. Key Responsibilities:
- Technical & Industry Understanding
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) — planning, design, development, testing, deployment, support.
- Ability to translate client requirements into technical specifications for developers and solution architects.
- Knowledge of web and mobile application architecture, APIs, databases, hosting environments, cloud basics.
- Understanding of CRM/HRMS/ERP, integration requirements, and cybersecurity compliance.
- Familiarity with government IT policies, NICSI processes, RFP/RFQ, tender compliance (preferred).
2. Project & Delivery Management
- Prepare and manage project plans, schedules, efforts, budgets and risk registers.
- Track progress and ensure delivery within timelines and scope.
- Create SOPs, documentation, technical and commercial proposals.
3. Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as a single point of contact for NICSI & government clients.
- Conduct requirement-gathering meetings, demos, presentations, and review calls.
- Manage escalations and maintain client satisfaction and trust.
- Build long-term client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
4. The Ideal Experience:
- Proven experience of 5 – 10 Years in IT Software Project Management
- Worked with IT Service provider, system integrator, NICSI projects, govt IT
- Strong understanding of IT Software industry sales and delivery.
