Role Overview:
The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in compliance with safety standards. The role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment, and control panels.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement timely solutions.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Maintain records of electrical work performed, including maintenance logs.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive maintenance schedules.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns or power outages efficiently.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of electrical tools and materials.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as an Electrician (depending on seniority).
- Knowledge of safety regulations, electrical codes, and wiring standards.
- Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical systems is preferred.
