Role Summary:
The Assistant Manager – Outreach will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing outreach activities to mobilize candidates for various skill development programs. This role focuses on engaging communities, educational institutions, government bodies, and local stakeholders to ensure maximum participation in the project.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Outreach & Mobilization
- Plan and execute outreach campaigns to generate awareness about skill development programs.
- Conduct field visits, community meetings, and mobilization drives to enroll eligible candidates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, training partners, NGOs, and local communities.
- Identify potential target groups and new areas for outreach activities.
2. Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with government officials, panchayats, community leaders, and local influencers to support mobilization.
- Liaise with training centers and project teams to ensure smooth participant onboarding.
- Represent the organisation during job fairs, career guidance sessions, and awareness camps.
3. Project Execution & Monitoring
- Track and monitor outreach performance against monthly and quarterly targets.
- Ensure candidate documentation, eligibility verification, and data accuracy.
- Prepare daily/weekly outreach reports and present insights to the management team.
- Support end-to-end mobilization planning for new batches.
4. Branding & Communication
- Ensure correct use of branding material across field activities.
- Support content creation for outreach collaterals (flyers, awareness messages, field stories).
- Promote success stories from the field to strengthen project visibility.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Rural Development, Management, Humanities, or related fields.
- 3–6 years of experience in outreach, mobilization, training, or field coordination—preferably in skill development (DDU-GKY, PMKVY, CSR initiatives, etc.).
- Strong networking and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for field activities.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with diverse communities and age groups.
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
