Job Description
The Material Replenishment Executive is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate replenishment of raw materials, components, and finished goods. The role focuses on maintaining the right balance between resource and demand through effective use of MRP systems. The position requires close collaboration with upstream and downstream planning leaders, supply planners, and inventory planners to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely replenishment of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
- Use MRP tools to maintain the right balance of resources vs. demand.
- Ensure stock availability in required quantities, at the right time and location.
- Monitor material requirements, anticipate shortages/excesses, and act accordingly.
- Manage exception messages from ERP and reschedule POs as needed.
- Communicate proactively with upstream stakeholders and suppliers.
- Support inventory optimization by maintaining correct inventory parameters and safety stock settings.
- Collaborate closely with Upstream & Downstream Planning Leaders and Supply & Inventory Planners.

5. Inventory & Supply Planning (FK04) – Competent
- Understands end-to-end supply chain network and key stakeholders.
- Defines stocking policies and replenishment strategies based on customer needs.
- Sets up inventory parameters, lead times, and safety stocks.
- Uses planning tools (Kinaxis, Oracle, SSP, OneMM).
- Understands upstream and downstream metrics.
- Communicates resource needs and collaborates across the network.
6. Inventory Replenishment (FK05) – Competent
- Understands and calculates Need/Resource Balance.
- Uses MRP, ROP, and Kanban strategies effectively.
- Monitors exception messages and takes timely corrective actions.
- Anticipates shortages and excess stock and reschedules POs.
- Understands vendor models (Consignment, VMI, ASW).
- Familiar with expedite costs, red alerts, and escalation processes.
- Uses SAP, Oracle, OneMM, and Tableau independently.
7. Customer Case Management (FL08) – Basic
- Understands order processing, chargebacks, repairs, and inventory control.
- Follows procedures to manage and resolve customer requests/claims on time.
8. Short Interval Management – SIM (KIM02) – Competent
- Applies SIM methodology independently.
