The Asset Manager will be primarily responsible for managing, tracking, and maintaining company assets across multiple locations and client sites. The position involves 90% asset lifecycle management and 10% administrative coordination to support smooth operational functioning in a staffing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Asset Management (Primary – 90%)
- Maintain an updated and accurate Asset Register including laptops, mobile devices, SIM cards, tools, ID cards, uniforms, hardware, and project assets.
- Manage asset allocation for new employees and retrieve during exits ensuring complete asset recovery.
- Track asset movement across field locations, project sites, branches, and warehouses.
- Conduct periodic audits (monthly/quarterly) and reconcile system data with physical inventory.
- Ensure assets are tagged, serialized, and tracked through ERP/Excel/Asset Management Tools.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules and ensure timely repairs.
- Oversee vendor coordination for procurement, repair services, and AMC contracts.
- Manage procurement process including quotation collection, comparative analysis, documentation, purchase orders, and billing coordination.
- Ensure compliance with asset policies including damage, misuse, loss, and replacement guidelines.
- Prepare asset utilization reports and generate weekly/monthly MIS dashboards for management review.
- Optimize asset lifecycle to reduce cost and improve utilization.
Administrative Support (10%)
- Assist in maintaining stock of office supplies and consumables.
- Support coordination for courier dispatch, logistic movement, and site-level asset delivery.
- Maintain documentation and filing related to asset policies, receipts, handover forms, and audits.
- Provide administrative support during onboarding for assets (ID card, SIM, laptop, tools, etc.).
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 2–5 years experience in asset management or inventory control (staffing or field workforce industry preferred).
- Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Tracking Sheets); ERP knowledge preferred.
- Experience in vendor management and procurement cycle.
- Strong documentation, follow-up skills, and accuracy in record keeping.
