The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and reporting various components of the Samagra Shiksha program in Uttarakhand. The role involves coordination between the State Project Office, District Education Offices, and other stakeholders to ensure timely implementation and effective delivery of project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project implementation plans, timelines, and budgets in line with Samagra Shiksha guidelines.
- Coordinate with district and block-level education functionaries for execution of project components.
- Monitor progress of various interventions (such as ICT in schools, teacher training, infrastructure development, etc.).
- Prepare and present periodic progress reports (financial and physical) to the State Project Office and the Ministry of Education.
- Ensure compliance with financial, administrative, and reporting norms of Samagra Shiksha.
- Facilitate procurement, vendor management, and contract administration as per government rules.
- Conduct regular field visits to assess implementation quality and identify bottlenecks.
- Liaise with technical partners, consultants, and external agencies involved in project execution.
- Support capacity building initiatives for district and school-level functionaries.
- Manage project risks and propose corrective measures to ensure timely achievement of targets.
- Support digital initiatives such as MIS, data monitoring systems, and e-governance components.
