About the Role
The candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling EdTech products/services, generating leads, conducting product demos, managing the sales pipeline, and closing business with schools, colleges, coaching institutes, and corporate clients (depending on product scope).
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new leads through references, LinkedIn and field visits
- Conduct product demos, presentations and counseling sessions to decision makers (Principals, Directors, Parents, Students, Corporate HR etc.)
- Manage the complete sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, proposal, negotiation and closure
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and sales targets
- Build long-term customer relationships and ensure repeat business
- Maintain CRM, pipeline tracking and daily activity reporting
- Understand competitor EdTech platforms and market trends
- Coordinate with the product and support teams during onboarding and delivery
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Must have prior experience in EdTech sales (B2B/B2C depending on product type)
- Strong communication, presentation and convincing skills
- Confidence in demos, meetings and client interactions
- Target-driven, self-motivated and comfortable in field/client visits
- Ability to understand educational needs and pitch the right solution
