Areas of Responsibilities
Develop detailed project schedules (Level 1–4) using Primavera (P6) or MS Project, integrating engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
Establish project baselines and track progress against schedule and budget throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to collect progress data and update schedules regularly.
Analyze project performance metrics (SPI, CPI, EVM) and identify potential risks, delays, or bottlenecks.
Prepare and present periodic progress reports, dashboards, and forecasts to management and clients.
Support preparation of project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost control systems.
Monitor subcontractor schedules and ensure alignment with the overall master schedule.
Assist in resource planning, productivity analysis, and manpower forecasting.
Coordinate delay analysis, recovery plans, and schedule impact assessments for variations and claims.
Ensure all planning and control activities comply with L&T’s project management procedures and standards.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Civil / Electrical / Instrumentation / Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
3–8 years of experience in project planning, control, or project management roles (preferably in EPC / Infrastructure / Oil & Gas / Power projects).
Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel-based reporting tools.
Strong knowledge of project management principles, Earned Value Management (EVM), and cost control techniques.
Familiar with construction sequencing, engineering deliverables, and procurement milestones.
Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
Certification in Primavera (P6) or Project Management (PMP / PRINCE2).
Working knowledge of SAP / ERP for project cost tracking.
Experience in L&T or other EPC project environments.
