Areas of Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day subsea fabrication yard activities to ensure smooth execution of work packages.
Interface between project engineering, fabrication, welding, NDT, logistics, and QA/QC teams to maintain workflow and quality.
Ensure fabrication and assembly of subsea structures (manifolds, PLETs, PLEMs, jumpers, skids, etc.) follow approved drawings, WPS, and procedures.
Track material availability, fabrication progress, and manpower utilization; highlight any deviations to management.
Coordinate FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests), SIT (System Integration Tests), and hydrotesting in collaboration with engineering and client representatives.
Manage equipment movement, lifting activities, and yard logistics ensuring safe handling of heavy subsea components.
Participate in daily coordination meetings, providing updates on fabrication status, yard constraints, and delivery schedules.
Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and conduct toolbox talks with yard personnel.
Support the preparation and execution of load-out operations and sea fastening activities.
Maintain accurate documentation – fabrication records, test reports, NCRs, punch lists, and handover packages.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Marine, Offshore, or Production Engineering (or equivalent).
In-depth knowledge of subsea structures, welding, NDT, coatings, and mechanical assembly processes.
Familiar with relevant codes and standards such as DNV, API 17D, AWS D1.1, ASME, ISO 13628.
Strong understanding of yard operations, heavy lifting, rigging, and logistics coordination.
Experience in reviewing fabrication drawings, isometrics, and 3D models.
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and planning tools (MS Project / Primavera).
Excellent communication, planning, and team coordination skills.
