Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic procedures using specialized tools and equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Repair or replace vehicle components including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and labor.
- Maintain detailed records of services and repairs performed.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with the service advisor team to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay up to date with automotive technology and repair techniques.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in automotive repair is preferred.
- Proven experience as an auto technician or mechanic (2–5 years preferred).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic and repair tools and techniques.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- ASE certification (preferred but not mandatory).
