Job Summary:
We are looking for a Project Manager – Railway Projects to lead site-level execution
of railway infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have solid experience
managing large-scale railway construction activities on-site, including
refurbishment, lavatory upgradation, and coordination with local teams and
government stakeholders. The candidate will report directly to the Project Head and
will be responsible for daily site operations, compliance, safety, quality, and progress
tracking.

Key Responsibilities:
Site Execution & Project Management
▪ Manage day-to-day construction activities and ensure work progress as per the
approved project schedule.
▪ Implement the work program at the site in line with design specifications,
technical drawings, and approved methodology.
▪ Supervise subcontractors and workforce at the site, ensuring timely and quality
work delivery.
Project Coordination & Reporting
▪ Coordinate with the Head Office, Project Head, consultants, and client
representatives (e.g., IRCON, RVNL, RITES).
▪ Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly progress reports.
▪ Support project billing and documentation related to site measurements and
work completion.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
▪ Ensure execution in compliance with project specifications, RDSO/Indian
Railways standards, and quality assurance protocols.
▪ Enforce safety protocols and ensure zero-accident execution culture on-site.
▪ Coordinate with QA/QC teams and third-party inspection agencies.
Material & Resource Management
▪ Plan and monitor material requirements and usage at the site.
▪ Ensure effective utilization of machinery, equipment, and manpower.
▪ Risk Management & Problem Solving

▪ Identify site execution issues and resolve them in coordination with senior
management.
▪ Escalate potential risks, delays, or deviations from the project scope to the Project
Head.

Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (Mandatory)
▪ Diploma holders with strong experience may also be considered
Experience:
▪ Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in site execution of railway
infrastructure projects
▪ Proven experience in managing railway projects (including earthworks, track
laying, bridges, electrification)
▪ Experience working with government or PSU railway bodies (e.g., IRCON,
RVNL, DFCCIL) is highly preferred

Key Skills & Competencies:

▪ Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office
▪ Good understanding of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards
