Job Title: Business Development Executive
Employment Type: Contractual (Off-Roll)
Interview Mode: Virtual
Location: Mumbai, Jodhpur, Kolkata (Field Job)
Compensation:
Fixed CTC: ₹3,60,000 per annum
Variable CTC: ₹90,000 per annum
Travel Allowance: ₹2,600/month (applicable only if 26 days of travel are completed)
Laptop Allowance: ₹1,500/month (own laptop is mandatory)
Role & Responsibilities:
Onboard new merchants onto the Meesho platform and negotiate favorable terms
Source catalogs and coordinate with the merchandising team for listing and updates
Collect and share market feedback to improve offerings and strategies
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closure
Maintain strong merchant relationships through regular communication and support
Ensure accurate and up-to-date internal data and reporting
Candidate Profile:
Education: 12th Pass / Graduate
Experience: 1 to 6 years of experience in E-Commerce Business Development (mandatory)
Other Requirements: Personal laptop is mandatory
Preferred Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Negotiation and vendor relationship management
Field sales experience with the ability to work independently
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and merchandising coordination
