Key Responsibilities:
1. Edit and produce impactful videos for social media, YouTube, and events, highlighting the NGO’s work and success stories.
2. Craft compelling visual narratives using footage, images, interviews, animations, and sound elements.
3. Ensure brand consistency and high-quality output by adhering to visual guidelines and storytelling standards.
4. Collaborate with content and design teams to align videos with campaign goals and messaging.
5. Stay updated with editing trends and platform requirements to deliver engaging, optimized content.
Must-Have Skills:
1. Language Proficiency: Proficient in Malayalam and English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
2. Video Editing Expertise: Proven experience in editing and producing high-quality videos for social media, YouTube, and event coverage, with a portfolio showcasing impactful storytelling and technical proficiency.
3. Visual Storytelling: Strong ability to craft compelling visual narratives using a mix of footage, photos, interviews, animations, and sound elements, ensuring clarity and emotional resonance.
4. Technical Proficiency: Expertise in industry-standard video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects, along with a working knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects.
5. Design & Aesthetic Sense: Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with an eye for visual harmony, branding, and consistency across media formats.
6. Political & Social Awareness: An understanding of India’s political and social landscape, especially in the NGO or campaign space, enabling the creation of contextually relevant and sensitive video content.
7. Creativity: A creative mindset with the ability to conceptualize and execute fresh, innovative video formats and styles that enhance message delivery and viewer engagement.
8. Independence & Initiative: Capable of independently managing end-to-end video production processes—from planning and shooting to editing and publishing—while meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
9. Adaptability: Ability to adjust video styles, pacing, and tone according to platform requirements, audience feedback, and evolving political or campaign narratives.
10. Attention to Detail: High level of precision in editing, ensuring polished final outputs that align with brand standards, messaging goals, and limited-budget constraints.
Education & Experience:
1. Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in Film Production, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Animation, or a related field is preferred. This academic background provides a solid foundation in visual storytelling and technical editing skills.
2. Specialization or Coursework: Candidates with specialization or coursework in Video Editing, Motion Graphics, Visual Effects (VFX), or Multimedia Production will have an added advantage.
3. Preferred Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in video editing, motion graphics, and post production, preferably within the context of political, social, or digital campaigns across multiple platforms.
4. Language Proficiency: Read / Write / Speak fluency in Malayalam and English is essential. Candidates should demonstrate a strong command of both written and verbal communication.

Preference shall be given to candidates having own Laptop & bringing the same to work. The prescribed asset specification is MacBook Air, 15 Inch, M4, 2025 / Mac Studio M4 Max, 2025.
