Eligibility - Only Female Candidates with experience 10 - 12 years(4-5 years in steel industry)
Qualification - MBA / PGDM in: Human Resource Management / Industrial Relations & Personnel Management / Organizational Development, OR / Master’s Degree in: Labour Studies, Social Work (MSW – HR specialization), or Psychology (especially from recognized institutes with plant HR relevance)
Core-Competency:
- Builds annual and project-specific manpower plans aligned with: Production cycles, new line setups, and shift expansions, Manages end-to-end hiring for: Blue-collar (fitters, welders, operators), White-collar (engineers, supervisors, project and sales staff), Creates and maintains a strong contractor/vendor ecosystem.
- Develops and enforces: Attendance, leave, overtime, code of conduct, PPE policies, Induction, shift deployment, and appraisal SOPs, Ensures uniform implementation across departments and shifts.
- Maintains and audits: PF, ESI, gratuity, bonus, minimum wages, Factory Act registers, Contractor compliance, CLRA and labour licenses, Handles inspections, Compliance responses, and government audits confidently.
- Oversees: Monthly payroll processing with attendance/overtime integration, HR software setup (HR One), Asset issuance, salary slips, and exit formalities.
- Resolves: Worker grievances, absenteeism issues, shift conflicts, Maintains positive relations with unions or worker groups, Enforces discipline through documented warnings, inquiries, and terminations; Builds: JD bank, evaluation forms, scorecards for each role, Campus, apprentice, and local job board pipelines, Tracks recruitment TAT, joining ratio, and attrition rates; Plans and monitors: Safety, skill, and behavioral training calendar, Compliance with ISO/IMS and audit-ready records, Builds learning culture aligned to retention and upskilling.
- Maintains dashboards for: Headcount, attrition, new joins, exit reasons, Monthly HR performance (TAT, absentee %, grievance closure), Presents HR metrics in management reviews; Strong coordination with: Plant head, production, finance, audit, compliance, Balances being firm with policy and empathetic with people; Leads HR team by: Mentoring junior HRs, instilling compliance discipline, Promoting a trust-based culture and fair decision-making, Handles confidential employee matters and executive communications with tact.
