Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Rolling Operator to operate and maintain our rolling machines in the manufacturing of solar mounting structures. The ideal candidate will have experience with metal forming, rolling equipment, and a commitment to producing high-quality products efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Rolling Machines: Set up, operate, and monitor rolling machines used for shaping metal strips into required profiles for solar structures. Ensure proper machine calibration and settings before production runs.
• Material Handling: Load and unload materials onto the machine, ensuring proper handling of raw materials (such as steel, aluminum, etc.) for optimal output.
• Monitor Machine Performance: Continuously observe and inspect the rolling process, ensuring the equipment runs smoothly, and troubleshoot any mechanical or operational issues.
• Quality Control: Regularly inspect finished products to verify dimensions, appearance, and structural integrity, adhering to quality control standards. Ensure compliance with safety and quality specifications.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of rolling machines and equipment. Report any malfunctions and assist with repairs or adjustments as necessary.
• Production Documentation: Record production data, including material consumption, production output, and machine performance metrics, to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to safety standards in the factory.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including production supervisors and engineers, to improve efficiency, resolve production issues, and meet production targets.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or training in manufacturing or mechanical operations is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in operating rolling machines or similar machinery in a manufacturing environment (preferably in metalworking or structural fabrication).
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with rolling machines, metal forming processes, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to carefully inspect and measure products, ensuring the highest quality standards.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of and adherence to safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
• Team Player: Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
• Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address machine issues quickly and minimize downtime.
