Job Description:

Surface Preparation
    •    Assess the condition of the vehicle’s surface and identify necessary prep work.
    •    Remove old paint, rust, and debris using sanders, grinders, or chemical removers.
    •    Mask and tape off areas not to be painted to prevent overspray.

 Painting and Refinishing
    •    Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired shade.Knowledge of paint codes.
    •    Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats using spray guns or other painting tools.
    •    Perform touch-ups and repairs to scratches, chips, and imperfections.

Quality Assurance
    •    Inspect painted surfaces for any flaws or inconsistencies and make corrections as needed.

Equipment Maintenance
    •    Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools.
    •    Ensure the proper storage of paints and materials.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in Automotive Painting or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a car painter (4+ years preferred).
