Reporting Manager

Job description

As a Reporting Manager at MediaTechTemple, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing reporting systems using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex data into understandable reports for key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Power BI to analyze and interpret large datasets.
• Design and generate comprehensive reports for various departments within the organization.
• Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support data-driven decision-making.

• Dashboard Development:

• Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards using Power BI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all dashboards.

• Process Optimization:

• Streamline and automate reporting processes to improve efficiency.
• Implement best practices for data visualization and reporting.

• Data Governance:

• Establish and enforce data governance policies to maintain data integrity.
• Work closely with IT to ensure data security and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Training and Documentation:

• Provide training to team members on Excel and Power BI functionalities.
• Create and maintain documentation for reporting processes and standards.

• Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other departments to understand their reporting needs and deliver timely and accurate reports.
• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Data Science).
• Proven experience as a Reporting Manager or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
• Familiarity with data governance and security principles.
