Job Role:- ITV Driver
Job Grade: NS2
Period Of Employment: 2 Years
Working Hours: 48 hours per week.
Overtime: Eligible in accordance with UAE Labour Law.
Gross Salary: 1950 AED
Sick Leave: In accordance to UAE Labour Law.
Training Period: The employee should successfully complete the training period and pass all exams prior formally being appointed as ITV Driver. During the training period the employee will be paid Basic Salary and Food Allowance ONLY.
Candidates Selection Criteria
- Age Criteria: 22-40
- Driving License – Heavy Vehicle GCC and/or UAE License holders Preferred, Indian Trailer License is MUST
- Education Level : 10th Standard Passed Mandatory
- Physical Appearance: Candidates should be Fit and Clear from any pre existing illnesses , major surgeries or disabilities . Candidates should not be overweight. Candidates should not have visible Tattoos and is flexible to trim and/or fold long Beard.
- Level of English Communication: Candidates should be able to read and comprehend in English
- Vaccination – fully vaccinated .
Roles & Responsibilities:-
- Operate the machine until relieved end of the shift or as per the instructions of the Yard Supervisor/ Yard Foreman
- Follow instructions dispatched from time to time by dispatcher through VMT
- Follow instructions given by Dispatcher regarding safety, container locations and precautions
- Update the VMT after execution of the assigned work order
- In case of queuing take instructions from the Yard Forman/ Tally Clerk for reassignment to make operations more streamlined
- Hand-over all necessary information regarding the status of the equipment, and unfinished work to the next shift operator
- Follow Traffic Management Rules and Speed Limits
- In case of breakdown along with pressing the F8 key on the VMT inform the foreman/ supervisor/ tally clerk of the breakdown so that Staff and Equipment control can be informed
- Follow the concept of corrective maintenance (report any minor faults, even if they do not impact the working of the equipment)
- Ensure that the equipment is always in good condition for operations and report any faults immediately to Yard Supervisor/ Yard Foreman
- Undertake routine cleaning of cabins and windows & Conduct regular inspection before commencement of operations
- Train new trainees whenever required
- Responsible for safety & discipline in the work area & Ensure compliance with Fatal Risk Standard, Safe Work Practices, HSE policy
- Reporting accidents and ‘near misses’ in accordance with defined safety procedures
