I. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designing and delivering training programs: The trainer is responsible for designing and delivering training programs that cover the fundamentals of sewing machine operation, including machine components, stitch types, and sewing techniques.
- Developing training materials: The trainer must develop training materials such as manuals, handouts, and presentations to support the training programs.
- Conducting training sessions: The trainer is responsible for conducting training sessions, either in-person or online, to teach individuals how to operate sewing machines correctly and efficiently.
- Demonstrating sewing techniques: The trainer must demonstrate various sewing techniques and best practices, such as threading the machine, selecting stitch types, and controlling speed.
- Evaluating trainee performance: The trainer must assess the trainee's performance during the training program to determine if they have gained the necessary skills to operate sewing machines correctly and efficiently.
- Providing feedback: The trainer must provide feedback to trainees on their performance, highlighting areas of strength and areas that require improvement.
- Monitoring progress: The trainer must monitor the trainee's progress and provide additional support or training where necessary.
- Maintaining the sewing machines: The trainer must ensure that the sewing machines are maintained and in good working order.
II. QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE
- ITI/AMT/Diploma, from NIFT, or any other polytechnic/reputed institute in the core subject
- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of industrial experience in stitching and should possess good knowledge of indistrial sewing machines, needles etc. He should be able to communicate in English and local language. He should have knowledge of equipment, tools, material, Safety, Health & Hyeigene. * The minimum required experience could be relaxed by the vigilance committee of AMHSSC, if the concerned candidate possesses qualification from premium institutes , like NID, NIFT etc.
