Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Disaster Management Trainer with a specific focus on flood, rescue, earthquake, and cyclone. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of disaster management principles, procedures, and techniques, as well as the ability to train and develop others in these areas. The trainer will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs that will prepare individuals and organizations to respond effectively to natural disasters.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and deliver training programs focused on flood, rescue, earthquake, and cyclone preparedness, response, and recovery.
2. Conduct training needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
3. Provide guidance and support to individuals and organizations in developing disaster management plans and protocols.
4. Collaborate with other disaster management professionals and organizations to share best practices and develop new approaches to disaster management.
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in disaster management and incorporate them into training programs as appropriate.
6. Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, manuals, and simulations, to support disaster management training programs.
7. Ensure that all training programs comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Required skill set:
1. At least 5 years of experience in disaster management, with a specific focus on flood, rescue, earthquake, and cyclone.
2. Proven experience in designing and delivering effective training programs.
3. Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to disaster management.
4. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Willingness to travel to deliver training programs as needed.
