Project Manager City Gas Distribution

Key Responsibilities

• Management of all ongoing City Gas Distribution projects including planning, execution, operation and maintenance to achieve set target within stipulated time frame
• Route survey, liaison, laying, testing, precommissioning and commissioning of pipeline, Feasibility study, layout, permissions and Installation of CNG stations, MRS, DRS and CGS.
• Monitor Construction activities involving contract management, QA/QC, Material Management
• Responsible for in time billing & receivable of payments in all ongoing projects, especially related to Steel & MDPE projects
• Responsible for planning for project activities and manage construction work including site measurements, reviewing designs / drawings, while ensuring compliance to quality
• Anchoring on-site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilization to maximize the output
• Preparing and reviewing of Method Statements and Work Specific Quality Control Plans
• Managing all necessary quality records of the project, following the current standards of international organizations and companies to ensure the work is carried out with high quality.
• Coordinating manpower planning and planning for competency building for implementation of new projects
• Directing and leading technical personnel and imparting continuous on job training for accomplishing greater operational effectiveness / efficiency
• Developing project baselines, monitoring and controlling projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, time over-runs and quality compliance to ensure its satisfactory execution
• Constant training & development of the team on various aspect of City Gas Distribution projects
