Job Description

Receiving materials, stocking, recording receipts, assisting QC to prepare quality reports
Checking the stock as per records
Issue materials as per the indent for different works, loading of materials at warehouse and unloading at site, management of handling and transportation equipment movements. Maintain records of departmental tools, machinery etc. on site
General supervision on the site regarding wastage / improper use of material
Bringing back any balance/ unused material at site to designated warehouse
Reconciliation of all materials with client vs subcontractor issues
Prepare fortnightly / monthly reconciliation reports
Prepare a size wise list of excess material
Update the stocks periodically
Inform the concerned engineer of the status of balance material in order to raise further indent
Follow up with material suppliers with prior consent from purchase department to ensure timely supply
Manage all warehouses
Have prior experience of above works on construction industry
