Job Profile:
- Condition Monitoring of Various Electrical Equipment’s (Transformers, breakers, Capacitor banks etc..) and Protection systems (Protective relays, lock out relays).
- Checking & verifying various Protection Schemes as per drawings.
- Document Management (Drawings and Test Reports)
- Knowledge of IS, IEC standards
- Capability to meet the physical requirement of site activities
Responsibility of Testing Engineer:
Performing the Condition Monitoring Activities at field for: EHV, HV & MV Electrical
Systems (Equipment & Protection).
- Planning of Monthly Activities
- Execution of Planned activities as per Work Instructions & Checklists at site.
- Reporting deviations and clearance of Test results before charging equipment
- Correcting deviations if ANY after confirmation from Tata Power Engineers.
- Rigorously following Tata Power Safety Standards and Procedures.
Candidates Profile:
- Candidate should be a Graduate Electrical Engineer.
- Knowledge of Power System Protection, Condition Monitoring of various electrical equipment is required.
- Shall be thoroughly able to read and interpret scheme, Relay and Instrumentation drawings.
- Familiarity with Numerical Relay and their software of various manufacturers is must. like Overcurrent & E/F relays, Distance Relays, Differential relays etc. from ABB, Siemens, Alstom/Areva (GE)
- Should be able to seamlessly use Omicron/Megger/Freja, numerical test kits for protection relay testing.
- Shall have good analytical and inter personal skills & learning attitude.
- Ready to work during night hours as many outages can be planned during night.
