About the Role
- We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to oversee warehouse documentation, inventory control, and shipment operations at Schneider Electric. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining inventory integrity, streamlining export and domestic documentation, facilitating vehicle movement, and ensuring compliance across all logistics workflows.
- Core Responsibilities
- Invoicing & Compliance
- Documentation: Manage domestic and export invoicing operations in Oracle ERP; generate and validate E-Way Bills using the KPMG portal.
- Inventory Control & Reconciliation: Perform daily Backflush Reconciliation, drive physical cycle counts, and investigate stock discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Shipment & Logistics Operations: Track daily vehicle movement, oversee dispatch schedules, and manage the collection and verification of Domestic Proof of Delivery (POD).
- MIS & Regulatory Reporting: Maintain, update, and analyze MIS reports for domestic and export activities, ensuring accurate tracking of EGM and GEGM records.
- Vendor & Forwarder Coordination: Coordinate Verified Gross Mass (VGM) compliance and liaise directly with Custom House Agents (CHAs) and freight forwarders to secure Bill of Lading (BL) and Shipping Bill (SB) copies.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain administration.
- Proficiency in ERP Systems & Tools: Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP, MS Excel (intermediate/advanced), and tax/logistics portals like KPMG.
- Operational Knowledge: Solid understanding of export/import documentation (BL, SB, VGM, EGM) and domestic transport compliance.
- Analytical & Communication Skills: Strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills to liaise with external vendors and forwarders.
