Job Title: Quality Associate – Switchgear Panels (AIS, LV & RMU)

Job Description:

We are looking for a Quality Associate with experience in the switchgear industry to perform quality inspections of AIS, LV, and RMU panels. The role involves checking panel assembly, wiring, components, and workmanship to ensure compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process and final inspections of switchgear panels as per drawings, specifications, and QAP.

• Verify panel assembly, wiring, components, and workmanship.

• Inspect AIS, LV, and RMU panels, including MCCB, ACB, relays, CTs, and PTs.

• Read and interpret GA drawings, SLDs, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.

• Maintain daily inspection records and quality documentation.

• Identify and report non-conformities (NCRs) and initiate CAPA/8D activities.

• Coordinate with Production, Line Quality, Testing, and Suppliers to resolve quality issues.

• Participate in rejection analysis and continuous quality improvement activities.

• Conduct routine tests on low-voltage switchgear panels.

• Prepare testing reports, inspection calls, and customer inspection reports.

• Verify wiring, busbar alignment, cable terminations, and panel assembly.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of AIS, LV, and RMU switchgear panels.

• Experience in switchgear quality inspection and panel manufacturing.

• Knowledge of MCCB, ACB, relays, CTs, PTs, and panel wiring.

• Ability to read GA drawings, SLDs, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.

• Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, DFT Meter, and Multimeter.

• Knowledge of IEC standards and IS testing standards.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Good communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
