Job Title : On Job training Technician
- Assist senior technicians in servicing and repairing commercial vehicles, including trucks, buses, and light commercial vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance such as engine oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and fluid-level checks.
- Assist with engine, transmission, clutch, brake, suspension, steering, and cooling system repairs.
- Support vehicle inspections and identify basic mechanical defects.
- Assist in diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Check and maintain batteries, lighting systems, wiring, and other electrical components.
- Assist in tyre inspection, wheel removal and fitting, and tyre pressure checks.
- Use workshop tools, lifting equipment, and machinery safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of tools, equipment, and the workshop.
- Follow job cards, maintenance schedules, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Report vehicle defects, additional repair requirements, and unsafe conditions to the senior technician.
- Ensure proper handling of spare parts, consumables, and workshop equipment.
