Position:Solar Technician – Bus Air Conditioner Installation

Department: Service & Installation

Solar Technician or Electrical Technician to support the installation and wiring of bus air-conditioning systems. Candidates with experience in solar electrical systems, DC wiring, electrical connections, and troubleshooting will be preferred, as these skills are transferable to bus AC installation and related electrical work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and electrical wiring of bus air-conditioning systems.
• Support the installation of electrical components, control panels, switches, relays, and related accessories.
• Read and understand basic electrical wiring diagrams and installation instructions.
• Perform electrical testing and assist in identifying wiring faults and connection issues.
• Support AC technicians during installation, testing, and commissioning of bus AC systems.
• Ensure proper cable management, insulation, and secure electrical connections.
• Use electrical tools and testing instruments safely.
• Follow electrical safety procedures and company quality standards.
• Coordinate with the installation team to complete assigned work within the planned timeline.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workplace cleanliness.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Solar Technology, or a related technical trade preferred.
• Experience in solar panel installation, electrical wiring, DC systems, or electrical maintenance is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, connectors, and testing instruments.
• Ability to understand basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems or HVAC electrical connections will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to work at bus manufacturing facilities and customer locations as required.
