Position: Mechanic Technician – Bus Air Conditioner Installation

Mechanic Technician to support the installation, servicing, and maintenance of air-conditioning systems in buses. The candidate will be responsible for mechanical assembly, installation of AC components, basic troubleshooting, and ensuring the proper functioning and reliability of bus air-conditioning systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and assemble bus air-conditioning units and associated mechanical components.
- Assist in mounting compressors, condensers, evaporators, brackets, ducts, and other AC components.
- Perform mechanical fitting, alignment, tightening, and fastening during installation.
- Support AC technicians in refrigerant piping installation and related mechanical work.
- Assist with AC system servicing, preventive maintenance, and repair activities.
- Identify mechanical faults, unusual noise, vibration, and component fitting issues.
- Support troubleshooting of bus AC systems and replacement of defective components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment safely and effectively.
- Coordinate with the installation and service team to complete assigned work on time.
- Follow company quality standards, safety procedures, and customer-site requirements.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workplace cleanliness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ITI in Mechanic, Motor Mechanic Vehicle (MMV), Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC), or a related technical trade preferred.
- Experience in automotive mechanical work, bus AC installation, vehicle maintenance, or HVAC systems is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical components, tools, fasteners, and assembly procedures.
- Ability to perform hands-on installation, maintenance, and repair work.
- Knowledge of bus air-conditioning systems and automotive HVAC components will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations or bus manufacturing facilities as required.
