Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and technically proficient MEP Engineer with a strong core engineering background and hands-on experience in site execution, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. The ideal candidate should have in-depth expertise in HVAC/AC systems, electrical installations, plumbing, and firefighting systems, preferably in large-scale institutional, commercial, or building infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage on-site execution of MEP works, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Supervise the installation, operation, maintenance, and commissioning of HVAC and air-conditioning systems.
- Manage electrical installations, including power distribution, lighting, earthing, cabling, and electrical panels.
- Supervise plumbing and water supply systems, drainage, sanitary installations, and related infrastructure.
- Monitor the installation and functioning of firefighting and fire protection systems, including fire hydrants, sprinklers, and fire alarms.
- Coordinate with civil contractors, architects, consultants, vendors, and other site teams to ensure seamless execution of MEP activities.

- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
- Manage contractors and subcontractors, monitor material requirements, and track work progress against project schedules.
- Conduct testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of MEP systems.
- Maintain site documentation, inspection reports, progress updates, and records of materials and equipment.
- Ensure efficient utilisation of resources and timely completion of all MEP-related activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in core MEP engineering and site execution.
- Strong hands-on expertise in HVAC/AC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
- Proven experience managing contractors, site teams, installation activities, and project execution.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Good understanding of building services, safety practices, quality control, and relevant statutory requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting, coordination, planning, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Candidate Profile
