Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Engineer Mechanical Assembly to manage machine assembly, installation, and commissioning. The role involves ensuring safety, quality, cost, and delivery requirements while coordinating with technical teams, suppliers, and workshop technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute machine assembly as per technical files and specifications.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

• Enforce safety rules, PPE usage, and 5S practices in the workshop.

• Plan manpower and resources for machine assembly, installation, and commissioning.

• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of assembly materials.

• Review mechanical drawings and technical documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Support machine design improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and setting time.

• Coordinate machine installation and commissioning at plants in India and abroad.

• Monitor daily workshop progress, maintain activity trackers, and escalate issues.

• Supervise workshop technicians and guide line setters in production setting parameters.

• Conduct training for setters and maintenance teams during trials and commissioning.

• Implement preventive maintenance checklists in coordination with design teams.

• Coordinate with suppliers for machine parts validation, testing, and delivery.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and minimize assembly rework.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of mechanical assembly and manufacturing processes.

• Understanding of pneumatics and automatic machine assembly.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.

• Knowledge of machine maintenance and equipment qualification.

• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of machine design and equipment safety.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

• English communication skills; knowledge of Kannada, Telugu, or Tamil is an advantage.
