Job Summary:

A Quality Engineer ensures that products and processes meet quality standards by designing, implementing, and improving quality control systems, identifying issues, and collaborating with teams to maintain product quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance:

• Develop and implement quality control systems and procedures.

• Ensure products and processes meet quality standards and specifications.

• Identify and address quality issues and defects.

Process Improvement:

• Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement.

• Implement and monitor process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.

Testing and Inspection:

• Conduct tests and inspections to verify product quality and compliance.

• Document test results and identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration:

• Work with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and other stakeholders.

• Communicate quality issues and recommendations to relevant parties.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of quality data and reports.

• Prepare reports and presentations on quality performance.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up to date with industry best practices and quality standards.

• Contribute to the development of new quality processes and technologies.

Preferred Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree:

Master's Degree:
A master's degree in engineering or a related field can be advantageous, especially for managerial or specialized roles.

Experience:
Experience in quality assurance, quality control, or related fields.

Industry Knowledge:
Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices is essential.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in statistical analysis, data interpretation, and the use of quality tools (e.g., SPC and root cause analysis) is important.

Software Proficiency:
Experience with relevant software, such as CAD, CAM, or quality management systems, can be beneficial.

Language Skills:

English, Hindi, Gujarati, etc.

Travel Requirements:

Travel may be required as per company requirements.
