Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Trainer to deliver practical and theoretical training to aspiring logistics professionals. The trainer will develop trainees’ skills in warehouse operations, inventory management, material handling, transportation, documentation, workplace safety and logistics processes as per industry standards.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct practical and theoretical training on logistics, warehouse and supply-chain operations.

Demonstrate warehouse processes including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and material handling.

Train candidates on inventory management, stock verification, barcode/scanning systems and basic warehouse software.

Explain logistics concepts, tools, equipment, documentation and workplace safety procedures.

Conduct hands-on practical sessions and supervise trainees during warehouse and field activities.

Train candidates on transportation processes, route planning, shipment tracking and delivery procedures.

Prepare trainees for practical and theoretical assessments.

Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback.

Maintain attendance, assessment, performance and certification records.

Ensure proper use, safety and maintenance of training tools and equipment.

Prepare training reports, MIS and other required documentation.

Collect trainee feedback and continuously improve training delivery.

Coordinate with Training, Project, Warehouse and Operations teams.

Ensure training is aligned with industry requirements and standard logistics practices.
Qualifications

ITI/Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Business Administration or a related field preferred.

3–5 years of hands-on experience in logistics, warehouse, transportation or supply-chain operations.

Previous training/instructional experience preferred.

TOT (Training of Trainers) certification preferred/required.

Good knowledge of logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management and material handling.

Understanding of ERP/WMS, barcode scanning and basic logistics software preferred.

Strong communication and instructional skills.

Good problem-solving and coordination abilities.

Ability to explain technical and operational concepts in a simple and practical manner.

Strong documentation, reporting and organizational skills.

Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
