Salary: ₹26,000 – ₹28,000 per month
License: Valid B or C Electrical License Mandatory

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems within the commercial facility.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment and installations.
• Inspect and maintain LT panels, DBs, MCCs, MCBs, ELCBs, contactors, relays and electrical distribution systems.
• Attend electrical breakdowns and ensure quick identification and rectification of faults.
• Handle maintenance of lighting systems, power sockets, switches, wiring, cables and electrical fixtures.
• Monitor and maintain DG sets, UPS systems, batteries and associated electrical systems, where applicable.
• Perform routine electrical inspections and record equipment readings and abnormalities.
• Support maintenance of HVAC, pumps, fire & safety systems and other MEP equipment from an electrical maintenance perspective.
• Coordinate with facility-management teams and external vendors for electrical-related maintenance work.
• Ensure electrical equipment and installations comply with safety procedures and statutory requirements.
• Follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), electrical safety and permit-to-work procedures while carrying out maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, breakdown reports and preventive-maintenance records.
• Respond to emergency electrical breakdowns and restore systems safely with minimum downtime.
• Ensure proper use of PPE, tools and electrical testing instruments.
• Assist in electrical audits, inspections and statutory compliance activities.
• Maintain good housekeeping in electrical rooms, panels and maintenance areas.
• Support other facility maintenance activities as required by the IFM team.

Requirments

• 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience, preferably in commercial buildings, corporate offices, malls, IT parks, hospitals, hotels or large facilities.
• Strong knowledge of LT electrical systems and building electrical maintenance.
• Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical panels, DBs, MCB/MCCB, contactors, relays, cables and lighting systems.
• Basic knowledge of DG, UPS, HVAC and other MEP systems.
• Ability to read basic electrical drawings/schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and PPE.
• Valid B or C Electrical License – Mandatory.
• Ability to attend emergency breakdowns and work in shifts, if required.
