Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Automobile Engineering (Mandatory)

Experience-0 to 5 Years

Fresh diploma engineers with good technical aptitude may also be considered.

Job Purpose

To support the development, update, validation, and publishing of Automotive Owner's Manuals by studying vehicle specifications, engineering drawings, and physical vehicles, and creating accurate customer-facing documentation using Adobe publishing tools.

Key Responsibilities

Owner's Manual Development

• Prepare and update Owner's Manuals for new models, model changes, and feature updates.
• Develop customer-friendly content based on engineering specifications and vehicle evaluations.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of OM content.

Technical Data Analysis

• Study and interpret:
  • Vehicle specification lists
  • Engineering drawings
  • Design change information
  • Feature lists
  • Regulatory requirements
• Extract relevant information and convert technical details into customer-understandable instructions.

Vehicle Inspection & Validation

• Conduct physical vehicle inspections to:
  • Verify vehicle features
  • Identify switch locations and controls
  • Check warning lamps and instrument cluster indications
  • Understand operation of vehicle systems and customer convenience features
• Capture observations and support content validation activities.

Illustration & Documentation

• Create and modify illustrations using Adobe Illustrator.
• Prepare document layouts using Adobe FrameMaker.
• Generate, review, and edit PDF documents using Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Documentation Quality Control

• Cross-check Owner's Manual content against vehicle specifications and engineering data.
• Incorporate review comments and engineering changes.
• Maintain document revision records and support release activities.

Mandatory Skills

Education

✅ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

• Service Manual or technical publication experience
• Basic understanding of automotive electrical and mechanical systems
