Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning
* Install and commission laser machines at customer locations.
* Assist in machine setup, testing and calibration.
* Ensure machines are functioning as per required specifications after installation.
* Conduct machine trials and basic performance checks.
Customer Training
* Provide basic operational and technical training to customers/operators.
* Explain machine operation, safety procedures and routine maintenance.
* Address basic technical queries raised by customers.
Service & Troubleshooting
* Attend service calls at customer locations.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical and machine-related problems.
* Carry out corrective maintenance and replacement of faulty components wherever required.
* Coordinate with the company's technical team for complex technical issues.
Preventive Maintenance
* Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance of laser machines.
* Inspect machine components and identify potential problems.
* Ensure machines remain in proper working condition and minimize downtime.
* Maintain service records and submit service reports after customer visits.
Field Support
* Travel extensively within the assigned territory for installation, commissioning and service activities.
* Attend breakdown/service calls at customer premises.
* Maintain professional communication and good customer relationships.
* Coordinate with the Head Office/service team regarding machine status, spare parts and technical issues.
Candidate Requirements
Educational Qualification
* B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
* Candidates from closely related technical disciplines may also be considered based on their practical knowledge.
Experience
* 6 months–1 year of Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer experience is preferred.
* Freshers can also apply.
* Freshers selected for the position will be required to sign a 1-year employment/service bond.
Technical Skills
Candidates should have a basic understanding of:
* Electrical and electronic systems
* Electrical wiring and control panels
* Sensors and switches
* Motors and drives
* Basic machine troubleshooting
* Preventive maintenance
* Reading basic electrical/electronic diagrams
Knowledge of industrial machinery, CNC, automation or laser machines will be an added advantage.
Other Requirements
* Must possess a valid two-wheeler and driving licence.
* Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
* Good communication and customer-handling skills.
* Ability to work independently at customer locations.
* Should be willing to work beyond normal hours when required for critical machine breakdowns.
* Candidates should be physically comfortable with frequent field travel.
Salary & Benefits
Freshers
CTC: ₹2.50 Lakh per annum
Salary for experienced candidates will be based on experience, technical knowledge and suitability for the position.
Travel Allowance
Within City:
* Petrol/travel allowance will be provided as per company policy.
Outstation Service Visits:
* Travel expenses will be reimbursed as per company policy.
* Pocket/field expenses will be provided as per company policy.
Training & Induction
Selected candidates will undergo approximately 2 weeks of Orientation and Technical Training at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
During the training period, the company will provide:
* Accommodation
* To & fro travel to Ahmedabad
* Food allowance of ₹400 per day
The training will cover company orientation, machine fundamentals, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, servicing and preventive maintenance.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a technically inclined Electrical/Electronics Diploma or B.E./B.Tech graduate who is comfortable with hands-on machinery, troubleshooting and extensive field travel.
Candidates with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, customer-service orientation and practical problem-solving ability will be preferred, even if they do not have prior laser-machine experience.
Important Note
This is a field-based technical role and requires regular travel to customer locations. Candidates applying for the position should therefore be comfortable with travel within and outside their assigned city/region.
