Key Responsibilities
- Machine Automation Execution: Realize industrial automation of machines based on technical specifications while meeting Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery targets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Design, Assembly, and Process teams to define technical needs for PLC, HMI, Vision, and Robot offline/online programming.
- Testing & Commissioning: Load, test, prove out, and qualify testers/machines. Lead installation, commissioning, and qualification at plant sites or supplier facilities.
- Handover & Documentation: Complete required technical documentation, recipe configurations, and handover machines to respective departments.
- Performance Monitoring: Track performance, meet target machine KPIs during observation periods, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Technical Support: Provide hands-on troubleshooting support for production machinery and resolve operational issues.
Required Technical Skills & Competencies
- Programming & Control Systems: Strong hands-on experience in PLC (Schneider PLC, SFC, Ladder, Structured Text), HMI, SCADA, and LabVIEW.
- Industrial Protocols & Communication: Expertise in Serial, Modbus, Profibus, TCP/IP, Ethernet IP, and OPC UA.
- Industrial Hardware Integration: Hands-on integration of Laser marking, Robotics, Vision systems (Cognex, Keyence), Assembly Pokayoke, Servos, Welding controllers, and Load cell LVDTs.
- Data & Smart Factory: Experience in MES integration, IT/OT networking, cybersecurity compliance, AWS/Cloud data pushing, and PY/JD dashboard creation.
- Domain Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of General Manufacturing processes in Switchgear, Automobile, or Machine Building industries.
