Position: Engineer In-Charge (EIC) – O&M, MDPE & Gas Distribution

Location – Chandigarh (2), Muzaffarpur, Pali, Kanpur, Siliguri, Jaunpur, Bardhman and Gaya Nalanda

Job Summary:

Responsible for operation and maintenance of MDPE gas pipeline networks, PNG

connections, and associated gas distribution infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted and safe

gas supply.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Operate and maintain MDPE and LMC pipeline networks.

·         Monitor PNG supply pressure management.

·         Attend breakdowns, gas leakage complaints, and emergency situations.

·         Overall site O&M responsibility

·         Safety compliance, MIS/reporting

·         Manpower and contractor management

·         Daily work planning and monitoring

·         Handle valve operation, isolation and restoration activities.

·         Coordinate emergency response during gas leakage incidents.

·         Maintain daily O&M reports, maintenance records and incident logs.

·         Supervise contractor activities and field technicians.

·         Carry out pipeline testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.

·         Coordinate with customers for complaint resolution and service restoration.

·         Knowledge about Isometric, Green Graph, KMZ and MDPE drawing.

Required Skills:

·         Knowledge of MDPE pipeline and LMC operations and maintenance (Overall site O&M responsibility)

·         Experience in CGD network operations.

·         Breakdown/emergency response ownership

·         Understanding of gas safety procedures and emergency handling.

·         Familiarity with electrofusion/butt fusion activities.

·         Good troubleshooting and team coordination skills.

·         Good knowledge of Microsoft software.

 Qualification:

·         Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil Engineering.

 Salary Range:

₹3 LPA – ₹4.5 LPA (depending on company and experience)
