Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic TGT English Teacher to inspire students through effective language and literature instruction. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong command over English grammar and literature, and the ability to enhance students' reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Responsibilities

• Teach English Language and Literature in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Conduct engaging classroom sessions using modern teaching methodologies.
• Evaluate students through assignments, projects, presentations, and examinations.
• Provide academic support and individualized attention to students as required.

Language Development

• Enhance students' communication, comprehension, writing, and presentation skills.
• Encourage reading habits and literary appreciation among students.
• Organize language enrichment activities, debates, elocution competitions, and creative writing exercises.

Classroom Management

• Maintain a disciplined, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
• Promote student participation and collaborative learning.
• Monitor student attendance, behavior, and academic progress.

Student Development

• Guide students in achieving academic excellence and overall personality development.
• Provide constructive feedback and counseling regarding academic performance.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate student progress effectively.

School Activities

• Support school events, examinations, assemblies, and co-curricular activities.
• Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.
• Contribute to curriculum enhancement and academic planning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in English or a related subject.
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) from a recognized institution.
• CTET/TET qualification preferred as per applicable norms.

Experience

• 3–4 years of teaching experience in a reputed school.
• Experience teaching middle and secondary classes is preferred.
