We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive GeM Portal Executive to manage all activities related to the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal. The candidate will be responsible for product listing, tender participation, bid submission, order processing, documentation, and ensuring compliance with GeM guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end operations on the GeM Portal.
- Register and maintain the company's GeM profile.
- Upload, update, and manage product/service catalogues.
- Search and identify relevant government tenders and bidding opportunities.
- Prepare and submit bids, quotations, BOQs, and technical documents within deadlines.
- Participate in reverse auctions and monitor bid status.
- Coordinate with internal departments for pricing, stock availability, and technical documentation.
- Process purchase orders received through the GeM Portal.
- Coordinate dispatch, invoicing, delivery, and payment follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with GeM rules, tender terms, and government procurement policies.
- Maintain accurate records of bids, orders, contracts, and MIS reports.
- Resolve buyer queries and communicate with government departments professionally.
- Monitor portal notifications, updates, amendments, and tender corrigenda.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or any relevant discipline.
- Certification or experience in GeM Portal operations is an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in GeM Portal handling, tender management, or government procurement.
- Freshers with strong knowledge of GeM and e-tendering may also apply.

- Understanding of government procurement and tender procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Google Sheets.
