Description of Role:
• Get the plan & input regarding monthly and quarterly production plan.
(Commitment with customer, drawings, specifications, QAP, process & planning sheet etc.)
• Prepare schedule of each job, and ensure availability & organize resources like manpower, materials, tooling, consumables, space, etc.
• Daily updation of schedule and keep record of reasons if any slippage.
• Ensure booking of hours/ man days/ consumed on each work order on daily basis and compile monthly.
• Ensure to follow process & specification provided by engineering to achieve on time delivery, quality production with good productivity.
• To plan & review the manpower allocation sheet.
• Preparation previous day for ensuring the availability of all required inputs to avoid illness and reshuffling of manpower.
• Maintain the housekeeping of equipment & machineries being used for production and seek support and coordinate maintenance to maintain them.
• To train and educate supervisors and workers and achieving Targets in Production .
• Review workers performance and identify their training need.
• Review processes defined by process engineering and validate to own.
• Ensure self-inspection and record through protocol & achieving Targets in Production
• Coordinate with quality department for inspection third party/customer.
• In nutshell production in charge is responsible for overall O.T.D., quality, productivity, 5S & EHS, effective and productive utilization of shop area, utilization & maintenance of resources (like grinding machines, welding machines, cranes, jacks, press machines, rolling machines, robot etc.
• Develop 5S culture & safe working practice.
• Any other work as a when required to achieve company goal.
