Key Responsibilities
1. NOMC Role
· Skills : Client handling, AMI operations, Meter advising process, Billing process, Net metering mode process, SLA Tracking etc.
· Role: Responsible to handle end to end response of clients escalation either through W/App group or Mail, Letter etc. , Execution of meter advising operation, Conversion of Net metering mode, Relay request response, Achieving SLA for meter replacement of faulty/defective smart meters and non-communicating meters. Monitoring daily billing progress and share respective responses to clients.
2. Energy Audit Role
· Skills : Coordination with Field operations team, Utility officials and other stakeholders, AMI operations, AMR operations, Energy Audit, GIS mapping, Feeder to DT and DT to Consumer energy consumption analysis and loss identification.
· Role: Responsible to coordinate with Client, Filed operations team and O&M team to correct wrong indexing, Daily Feeder to DT and DT to Consumer load analysis, Feeder, DT and Consumer's outage events analysis. Prepare feeder and DT energy audit report and drive entire operations.
Common Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage Smart Metering and AMI operations through NOMC platforms.
- Support the operation and maintenance of Head-End Systems (HES) and Meter Data Management (MDM) applications.
- Monitor meter communication, data acquisition, and system performance KPIs.
- Coordinate with field teams through Workforce Management (WFM) platforms for issue resolution and service restoration.
- Manage and troubleshoot API integrations between utility systems, HES, MDM, MDAS, Billing, and other enterprise applications.
- Analyze operational incidents, communication failures, and meter-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Coordinate with OEMs, system integrators, utility representatives, and vendors for operational support.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and dashboards.
- Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and operational procedures.
- Support new AMI deployments, testing, system enhancements, and integration activities.
- Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of corrective actions for recurring issues.
- Maintain documentation related to system operations, incidents, and process improvements.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of Smart Metering and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI).
- Experience with Head-End Systems (HES) and Meter Data Management (MDM).
- Understanding of Workforce Management (WFM) platforms and field operations.
- Experience in API integration monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of utility operations and Power Distribution processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Vendor and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Familiarity with operational monitoring tools and incident management processes.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Smart Metering Projects, Utility Operations, or AMI Deployments.
- Exposure to system integration projects within the Power & Energy domain.
- Experience in Network Operations Center (NOC) or Monitoring Center environments will be an added advantage.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer Science, IT) or equivalent.
- Relevant experience 4-7 years in Smart Metering, AMI Operations, Utility IT Systems, or System Integration.
