Manufacturing Line Leader

Position Name: Manufacturing Line Leader / Production Line Leader

Qualifications & Skillsets

· Educational Qualification: Diploma

· Language Preferences: Proficiency or preference for Kannada, Malayalam, or Hindi.

· Core Competencies: Fluent communication skills and professional presentation capabilities.

· Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal relationship management and high flexibility in work delivery.

• Shop Floor Management

· Efficiently manage day-to-day shop floor operations.

· Handle manpower distribution and optimized work allocation across production lines.

· Conduct training sessions and periodic evaluations of operators.

· Ensure consistent follow-up on operational deliverables and schedules.

Reporting & Monitoring

· Generate and compile precise SIM (Short Interval Management) reports.

· Maintain and document Production reports, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and MDR (Material Discrepancy Reports).

· Perform and review daily checklist audits.

· Monitor quality reports constantly to keep line processes in alignment with standards.

Production & Operations

· Supervise material handling processes with strict adherence to industrial safety norms.

· Apply operational knowledge of PLC & SCADA systems to maintain or troubleshoot automated flows.

· Ensure operations consistently run and deliver within specified cycle times.

· Oversee and monitor jigging & un-jigging processes actively.

· Track end-to-end material flow (Inbound and Outbound inventory tracking).

· Maintain clear and proper communications with cross-shift supervisors to facilitate smooth handovers.
