JOB Responsibilities
1. Cabinet Proposal Support (Primary Job)
Purpose
Support the preparation, coordination, review, and submission of cabinet proposals to meet project and organizational approval requirements.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project, and commercial teams to collect required inputs.
· Prepare cabinet proposal documents, presentations, cost estimates, and supporting technical documents.
· Ensure proposals comply with organizational standards and approval processes.
· Track proposal review cycles and approvals.
· Consolidate stakeholder comments and ensure timely incorporation of feedback.
· Maintain proposal records, version control, and approval documentation.
· Support management with project status reports and executive summaries.
· Coordinate meetings and prepare minutes of meetings (MoM) related to proposal approvals.
· For Resale items, below tasks to be performed
ü Review Bill of Materials (BOM) and project requirements.
ü Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams for material planning.
ü Raise material requisitions and purchase requests.
ü Track purchase orders and monitor material delivery schedules.
ü Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding order status.
ü Co ordinate with customer and local logistics for dispatch
Deliverables
· Cabinet proposal Quotes
· Tracking reports and Proposal review records.
· Material requisitions and purchase requests for Resale
· Material tracking reports for resale
· Procurement status updates for resale
· Ontime readiness for Resale dispatch
· Management presentations and summaries.
2. Panel Integration Support
Purpose
Support the planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of panel integration activities to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate panel integration activities between engineering, production, quality, and commissioning teams.
· Support review of panel layouts, schedules, and integration requirements.
· Monitor progress against integration milestones.
· Coordinate testing, inspection, and validation activities.
· Track and resolve integration-related issues.
· Ensure all necessary materials and resources are available before integration activities commence.
· Maintain integration documentation and records.
· Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
Deliverables
· Panel integration schedules.
· Progress and milestone reports.
· Testing and inspection records.
· Issue and resolution logs.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation)
Experience
· 3-5 years of experience in PLC Hardware engineering, project coordination, procurement support, panel integration activities
· Experience in cabinet proposal preparation, material planning, and project documentation.
· Exposure to materials procurement process
· Experience in tracking project schedules, deliveries, and action items.
· Work experience in PLC, DCS, electrical control panels and knowledge in engineering design of cabinets
· Experience in coordinating with engineering, procurement, production, and vendor teams.
Technical Skills
· PLC/DCS product knowledge – Schneider/ABB/Honeywell/ Siemens/Rockwell/Omron
· Boughtout Product knowledge - Terminal blocks, Relays, Barriers, Power supplies, Cables, UPS, Network switches and media convertors, Cabinets and its accessories etc.,
· Certification ATEX, UL, IECEx, CE Knowledge
· Microsoft Excel/Word/Power point - Proficiency preferred
