We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor / Manager to oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, and supply chain activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient material flow, maintaining inventory accuracy, driving process improvements, optimizing logistics costs, and leading warehouse teams to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure smooth inbound and outbound material movement.
• Ensure timely material availability to support uninterrupted production.
• Improve warehouse efficiency by eliminating waste and optimizing operational processes.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy between physical stock and system records.
• Conduct daily cycle counts, stock audits, and inventory reconciliation.
• Perform ABC/FMR analysis, annual ageing analysis, and manage obsolete or non-moving inventory.
• Maintain optimum safety stock levels for Semi-Finished Goods (SFG) and Finished Goods (FG).
• Implement and sustain KANBAN systems to improve material flow.
• Ensure strict adherence to FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
• Drive warehouse excellence through 5S implementation and workplace safety initiatives.
• Monitor Water Spider activities to improve material movement efficiency.
• Conduct warehouse audits and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with production, planning, and dispatch teams to ensure On-Time Material Delivery (OTDM).
• Improve order fulfilment efficiency and customer service levels.
• Prepare and manage warehouse budgets, including transportation, packing materials, and domestic/international logistics costs.
• Monitor logistics expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Manage transporters and C&F agents to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries.
• Optimize freight planning through shipment consolidation and efficient transportation modes.
• Plan raw material supply for subcontractors and ensure timely replenishment.
• Conduct monthly subcontractor audits for inventory accuracy and compliance.
• Review subcontractor quality, delivery performance, and stock reconciliation reports.
• Train, mentor, and develop warehouse teams while driving a culture of continuous improvement.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to resolve operational challenges and improve supply chain performance.
