We are seeking an experienced hospitality professional to join our team as a Vocational Trainer – Tourism & Hospitality. The trainer will be responsible for grooming and instructing students to become highly skilled Food and Beverage Service Assistants, instilling the fine dining, banquet, and customer service standards required by luxury hospitality brands.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Delivery: Deliver theoretical and practical training on core Food & Beverage (F&B) service operations, restaurant layouts, table settings, and menu engineering.
Service Excellence: Instruct trainees on standard operating procedures (SOPs) for guest greeting, taking orders, serving styles (silver service, buffet, pre-plated), and clearance.
Practical Lab Management: Conduct hands-on technical sessions in mock restaurants or practical labs focusing on tray handling, glass/cutlery polishing, and beverage serving etiquette.
Supervisory Skills: Guide students on team coordination, banquet setup, breakdown management, and handling VIP guests or complex customer queries.
Assessment & Compliance: Regularly evaluate student performance via practical mock drills and written tests, ensuring compliance with global hospitality benchmarks.
Hygiene & Safety: Train students on standard health, safety, and hygiene regulations (such as HACCP) specific to food handling and hospitality environments.
Key Skills & Competencies
Deep technical knowledge of fine dining, bar setup, banquet management, and standard restaurant workflows.
Strong leadership, team management, and supervisory experience in high-pressure hospitality settings.
Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and professional grooming standards.
Strong pedagogical approach with the ability to mentor and instill corporate confidence in trainees.

Minimum 5 years of total combined working or teaching experience in the Food and Beverage (F&B) service domain.
Mandatory Criteria: Must include at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory capacity within a classified hotel or a reputable Facility Management Company.
