We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Vocational Trainer – Office Assistant to join our team. The trainer will be responsible for teaching, mentoring, and preparing trainees/students in essential office management practices, secretarial skills, and administrative workflows, ensuring they meet industry standards and become career-ready.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Delivery: Deliver theoretical knowledge and practical training on office management, standard operational workflows, and corporate administrative procedures.
Technical Training: Conduct hands-on training sessions on core office software (MS Office/Google Workspace: Word, Excel, PowerPoint), data entry protocols, e-filing, and modern office machinery (printers, scanners, fax machines).
Communication & Etiquette: Train students on essential business communication skills, corporate email writing, telephone etiquette, and visitor reception management.
Assessment & Evaluation: Evaluate trainees' progress through regular tests, practical projects, viva-voce, and mock drills, providing structured feedback for continuous improvement.
Content Management: Create, customize, and update high-quality training materials, instructional handouts, and lesson plans in line with the established curriculum.
Liaison & Placement Support: Collaborate with standard administrative departments to align the training with actual market requirements, helping students secure corporate internships or placements.
Mentorship: Provide guidance on workplace discipline, time management, problem-solving skills, and professional resume building.
Key Skills & Competencies
Deep understanding of administrative processes, bookkeeping basics, filing systems, and record management.
High proficiency in computer applications, specifically spreadsheets (Advanced Excel features like formulas, formatting) and document generation.
Excellent communication, instructional, and classroom management skills.
Ability to break down complex professional workflows into easy-to-learn modules for students.
