Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and student-focused Counsellor to guide prospective learners in choosing suitable training programs and career pathways. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Student Counselling & Admissions
- Counsel prospective students regarding available courses, training programs, and career opportunities.
- Understand candidates' educational backgrounds and career aspirations to recommend appropriate programs.
- Guide students through the admission and enrollment process.
- Address student queries and provide timely information regarding courses, eligibility, fees, and schedules.
Lead Management & Follow-up
- Handle inquiries received through calls, walk-ins, referrals, and digital platforms.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective candidates to maximize enrollments.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, counseling sessions, and admissions.
Coordination & Support
- Coordinate with training, mobilization, and placement teams to ensure smooth learner onboarding.
- Assist students with documentation and registration requirements.
- Support retention efforts by maintaining regular communication with enrolled learners.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain student databases and counseling records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly counseling and admission reports.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and reporting requirements.
Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly admission and enrollment targets.
- Contribute to the growth of training programs through effective counseling and candidate engagement.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Prior experience in student counseling, admissions, sales, customer support, or education sector preferred.
