Job Description – Lead Data Analyst (AMI Operations & SLA Analytics)
Role Title: Lead Data Analyst – AMI Operations & SLA Analytics
Location: Rajasthan
Reporting To: State Head – AMISP Project
Role Purpose:
To lead AMI data analytics, SLA monitoring, operational intelligence and invoice analytics for large-scale smart metering operations. The role will be responsible for identifying reasons for SLA failures, analyzing Non-Com/Never-Com trends, monitoring HES/MDM performance, preparing billing/invoice analytics, and generating actionable insights for O&M and management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly and monthly SLA reports for AMI operations.
• Analyze reasons for SLA failures and provide actionable corrective measures.
• Track key operational KPIs including communication success %, billing success %, Non-Com %, Never-Com %, data latency and meter-wise SLA performance.
• Analyze HES and MDM data for operational gaps and communication failures.
• Perform root cause analysis of Non-Com and Never-Com meters.
• Prepare Circle-wise, Division-wise and Vendor-wise analysis reports.
• Prepare monthly SLA validation reports for invoice processing.
• Validate billing data, communication performance and SLA compliance before invoice submission.
• Develop operational dashboards and automated MIS reports.
• Coordinate with NOMC, HES, MDM, IT, O&M and DISCOM teams.
Desired Candidate Profile:
• 5–10 years’ experience in Data Analytics / AMI Analytics / Utility Operations.
• Experience in Smart Metering or Power Utility domain preferred.
• Strong knowledge of AMI systems, HES/MDM platforms, SQL, Excel Advanced, Power BI/Tableau and SLA analytics.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.
Qualification / Position Details
Position: Data Analytics Lead
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
MBA / PGDM / Certification in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or Project Management will be preferred
Joining Timeline: Immediate to 30 Days
Job Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan
Salary Range: 5 to 9 LPA (Final compensation will be based on interview feedback and candidate suitability)
