· Hardware Architect to lead the design and development of advanced medical device hardware systems.
This role is responsible for defining scalable, reliable, and regulatory-compliant hardware architectures, ensuring safety, performance, and manufacturability
· Required Qualification:
· Bachelor’s/master’s in electrical, Electronics, or Biomedical Engineering.
· 15–20 years of experience in hardware design and architecture.
· Strong expertise in:
· Analog & digital circuit design
· High-speed PCB design
· Power electronics (low-power, battery-operated systems)
· Experience in medical devices or safety-critical industries.
· Experience with EMI/EMC testing and certification.
· Hands-on experience with:
· Schematic capture & PCB tools (Altium, Cadence, OrCAD)
· Lab equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer)
· Strong understanding of hardware development lifecycle
· Key Responsibility:
· Define and own the end-to-end hardware architecture for medical devices.
· Translate system and clinical requirements into hardware design specifications.
· Architect complex systems including:
o Analog and digital circuits
o Power management systems
o Sensor interfaces (ECG, imaging, etc.)
· Ensure compliance with:
o IEC 60601
o ISO 13485
· Lead schematic design, PCB architecture, and component selection.
· Define hardware–firmware interfaces and system integration strategy.
· Drive design reviews, technical decision-making, and trade-off analysis.
· Ensure EMI/EMC compliance, signal integrity, and thermal management.
· Lead prototype development, bring-up, and debugging.
· Support verification, validation, and regulatory submissions.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (firmware, systems, QA/RA, manufacturing).
